Bank Interest Rates Remain at 5.75%

Published / Last Updated on 07/11/2007

As predicted on this site, the Bank of England monetary policy committee met today and have confirmed that interest rates will remain unchanged at 5.75%.

Our view

Totally expected.  We believe interest rates will remain in place until Spring 2008, expect a 0.25% cut around March, April or May 2008, depending upon how mad we all go at Christmas.
