Bad Managers Waste Workers Time

Proudfoot Consulting has issued research that due to bad management, 87 out of the average 235 day working year is wasted due to poor management, supervisions or training of staff in the UK.   

This means that we lag behind the US and Germany for efficiency. 

Our view 

Great news - let's just give all our staff a 30% pay cut because they are obviously not working for a third of the week.  Seriously though, it is a message for all business owners.   You have to have systems in place to ensure that all your workers are working at all times. 

You might even make some money if you do make employees more efficient! 

When was the last time you reveiwed your systems or asked you staff how they would change systems for the better?  Would you give them a bonus?
