AXA Sun Life is the latest insurer to announce With Profits bonus cuts. Poor stock market performance has been blamed again for the cuts.
Investment and savings bonus rates have been cut from 5% to 4% and pensions bonus rates have been cut from 5.5% to 4.5%. These cuts are in line with other insurers and reflect the negative returns received from equity investments over the past two years.
