Autumn Statement 2011 - Record State Pension Boost.

As inflation is still comparatively high at over 5%, the Chancellor George Osborne confirmed that State Pensions will increase by £5.30 in April 2012 to £107.45 per week.

In addition, Pension Credit will be increased by £5.35 per week.

Working tax credits will also increase, but other tax credits will be frozen.

That said, there was worse news for workers, being told that State Pension Age increases from 66 to 67 will be brought forward.
