The Financial Services Authority is to review the issue of advice verses non-advice sales in their general insurance effectiveness review, which begins in April this year. The regulator will analyse consumer awareness around the lack of rights the public have with the Financial Ombudsman Service on policies bought direct as part of a wider review into the Insurance Code of Business.
