Research from Norwich Union has revealed that more than eight out of ten people aged between 19 and 30 have considered starting their own business. However, the survey showed that the most popular areas for start-ups were fashion and events business followed by starting and running a bar.
The research also showed that the internet is the preferred media for business among older workers. Half of all respondents between 31 and 50 wanted to become internet entrepreneurs.

Napolean once called us a "Nation of shopkeepers", which judging by these findings we are still the entrepreneurial race we always have been.
