57 000 City Jobs Go

57,000 City Jobs Go

A report by the Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) has suggested that 29,000 City Jobs will go in 2009 adding to the 28,000 last year making 57,000 job losses through the current crisis.

There are nearly 300,000 working in the City in finance and these losses represent around 20% i.e. 1 in 5 to lose jobs.
