2014 Global Forecast Cut

2014 Global Forecast Cut.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has revised down its global outlook for 2014, however its prediction for 2015 remains unchanged at 3.9%.

The global outlook prediction has now been cut from 3.6% to 3.4%.

Strength is continuing to be seen out of the world’s most advanced economies, but low rates of growth were being seen in others. This along-side high numbers of unemployment means that the global economy has slowed the overall global pace.

The data from OECD showed that the fastest rising profiles were the United States, Japan, Europe and the United Kingdom.

However, the United States have had their outlook cut, this is being linked to the extreme winter weathers the US was hit with in December and a government shutdown in October.
