12 Banks Credit Rating Downgraded.

12 UK financial firms have had their credit rating downgraded by Moody’s.  Lloyds TSB, RBS, Santander and Nationwide are some of the firms.

Moody’s have highlighted that the downgrades did not reflect a deterioration in the financial strength of the banking system.

RBS were downgraded by two-notches, and a one-notch cut for Lloyds TSB.  Whilst Santander had its UK business downgraded by one notch and Nationwide Building Society suffered a two-notch reduction.
