You will receive a Pension Wake Up Pack when you are close to your retirement age usually issued 4-10 weeks before retirement date.
It will:
- Explain your retirement options.
- Explain what an annuity is.
- Explain how to shop around and the advantages and disadvantages of shopping around.
- Explain how to shop around.
- Explain how to get financial advice.
With effect November 2019 Wake Up Packs to be issued:
- At age 50.
- Every 5 years thereafter until retirement age.
- Every time you request a quotation or illustration.
- Every time you request a transfer value.
