Investment Managers Predict UK Top Performer in 2020

Who will be the top market preformer in 2020. Investment Trust managers have predicted the UK to produce the best stock market returns in 2020.
In November, member fund managers of The Association of Investment Companies voted on the sector they thought had the best prospects over the coming year.
Votes for most promising sectors for 2020 were:
- 33% voted UK
- 19% Asia Pacific ex Japan
- 10% Europe
- 10% US
Brexit uncertainty has given UK equities a tough time over the last few years, but managers believe the UK has strong prospects over the next 5 years.
Votes for the most promising region over the next 5 years:
- 24% voted UK
- 29% voted Emerging markets
- 19% voted US
Specific sectors most likely to perform well next year were Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs )and Software and Computer Services which got 14% each of the vote.

They would say that anyway. We suggest there will be an initial bounce post election results and Brexit but then the UK will settle into its true global position and will rise/fall on global economic slowdown.
