Retirement Planning _ Pension Or ISA?

According to a survey by the fund manager Fidelity, people saving for retirement are turning to ISAs rather than pensions.

Apparently, people saving for retirement are losing confidence in pensions, following the ongoing problems and news coverage of final salary pension schemes.  People are also starting to save more money and earlier in their lives, for the prospect of retiring earlier and living longer.

There are many advantages for investing in pensions, as there are for ISAs.  However, there are also disadvantages for both savings vehicles and potential investors need to check them out before deciding.
