These are the rules with intestacy in Scotland.If you die without a will in Scotland then your spouse will not inherit all of your money.The things that your spouse would inherit are as follows:Your house up to the value of £479,000.£29,000 of the contents of your house.£50,000 of your investments and cash.Your spouse would also inherit a third of your estate.The remaining 2 thirds would then go to your children.
