In a bid to increase financial awareness, in terms of money management, budgeting and saving, the Financial Services Authority (regulator of the industry) has taken a "colossal" step.

Colossal Cards is a resource for teachers for 10 - 14 year olds which teach the value of money, money management, saving and budgeting.  It is designed to give a greater understanding of the non-cash forms of money, such as cheques, credit and debit cards etc.

Each school has already been sent one set of the cards but more can be purchased if necessary.
