Different Types of Care

There are many different types of care.  Some funded by the State and some will require self funding. 

Care can normally be separated into two distinct categories: Social Care and Health Care.

  • Health Care is generally funded by the National Health Service through Primary Care Trusts.
  • Social Care is generally self funded and if you are worth more than the capital allowances or may be part funded by local authorities or social services if not.
