Residential Care is generally care in a home that you live in i.e.  it provides you with accommodation and personal care but not medical care.

The technical term is a 'care home without nursing care' but most people know them as Residential Care Homes.

These types of care home will have limited medical care requirements i.e.  normally there will not be requirements for a registered nurse to be available constantly.
