What to expect in a medical examination when you apply for large life insurance and critical illness insurance sums assured:
- Full medical - normally not your own GP
- Cotinine test – as a non-smoker – they test to check you are actually a non-smoker and have not touched tobacco say in last year witha mouth swab
- Biochemistry blood test
- Urine sample
- HIV test
- Exercise ECG – heart rate monitor during exercise
