Exchange traded funds (ETFs) will invest in indices. ETFs will invest in a specific sector of shares (E.g Pharmaceutical shares).You invest not in just one business/share but in the whole sector, this is because you think that sector will increase and not just one share.The charges can be a lot lower for an ETF.
